Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) -Pan-African Forest Dependent Indigenous Peoples FCPF Capacity Building Program on REDD+ Project

MPIDO is the Regional Intermediary for the Forest-dependent peoples Capacity Building Program supported by the FCPF/WB for the African region. The implementation arrangements for the Program  provides for a Technical Advisory Committee of 5-7 members who will support MPIDO in reviewing and recommending proposals for grant wards and also on issues of FGRM within the implementation of the project.

MPIDO therefore requests interested persons from the 18 participating countries of the FCPF (Burkina Faso, ‎Cameroon, Central ‎African Republic, ‎Democratic Republic of ‎Congo, Republic of ‎Congo, Cote d’Ivoire, ‎Ethiopia, Gabon, ‎Ghana, Kenya, Liberia, ‎Madagascar, ‎Mozambique, Nigeria, ‎Sudan, Tanzania, Togo, ‎Uganda) to indicate their expression of interest and availability to serve as members through the period of the project

The role is on voluntary basis with an honorarium available for time shared. All travel expenses will be borne by the project.

The engagement that will require travel will be to attend a meeting to finalize the grants in Nairobi from 22-25th August after receiving and reviewing the proposals. There will also be an Inception meeting in Ghana from the 22-23rd September that the TAC members would be expected to attend and facilitate the signing of the Sub-grant agreements.

  1. Annex I: TAC Terms of Reference (TOR)
  2. Annex II: Call for Proposal PACJA MPIDO July 2016

The EOI must comprise the following documents:

  1. Short covering letter detailing experience in the areas specified in the TOR and availability on the needed days
  2. Detailed CV of lead personnel
